  • What is Openfloat for business?
    OpenFloat for businesses is a solution that enables corporates manage their corporate spend as they pay their bills and purchase bulk airtime on one platform. It also helps you make travel arrangements including flights and accommodation for your team.
  • What documentation do I need to start using OpenFloat?
    The list of documents required to open an account is based on business type:
    1. Sole Proprietor
      1. Voided/Cancelled Cheque in the name of sole proprietor
      2. Copy of Business Registration
      3. Copy of National ID, Passport or Driver’s License
      4. Copy of KRA Pin Number or Tax Compliance Certificate
      5. Signed Pesapal Contract
    2. Partnerships/LLCs
      1. ID/Passport copies of Chairman/Directors of the Company PIN Certificate of all Directors/Partners
      2. Copy of Certificate of Incorporation of Company
      3. Copy of KRA Pin Number / Tax Compliance Certificate of Business
      4. Passport photo of each of the Directors/Partners
      5. Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company
      6. Copy of a voided Cheque
      7. Signed Pesapal Contract
  • How much does it cost?
    OpenFloat is free to sign up. You only pay when you transact. The OpenFloat dashboard helps you manage your payments and generate reports if and when you need to.
  • Can I get reports on my transactions?
    Yes you can. Simply log in to account and click on ‘Transaction’ tab on the left hand side.
  • What confirmation do I get that the bill has been paid?
    Once you make a payment, an email notification will be sent to the email that you used to register confirming payment receipt and all services paid for.
  • How do I top up my OpenFloat account?
    You can top up your OpenFloat account by Mpesa or by bank transfer. Log in to OpenFloat account and click on ‘Float’ on the menu bar on the left hand side of your dashboard for more information.
  • What is the benefit of having Openfloat?
    OpenFloat enables you to not only manage your bill and airtime payments but also make flight and accommodation arrangements for your team. The tool enables easier financial management and tracking and saves you money with virtually zero transaction fees.
  • Can I search for payments for a particular period?
    Yes you can. Log In to your OpenFloat account, click on ‘Transactions’, select your dates and hit search to find your transactions.
  • How long do you store the data from my Openfloat account?
    You can access all the data from your OpenFloat account since you first registered it.
